On the outskirts of a large Belgian town we find Usine S an extremely big textile factory.
Production started here in the late 19th century and specialised in the treatment of textiles. Just shy of 100 years later production ended, its clear a lot of the site has been stripped but some equipment has been left behind and nature is running its course.
For the size of this location there really isn't a lot to see. However what there is to see is rather special.
I only really new of one part of the site which was quite popular on the social networks so I was unaware of the room that would blow my mind.
I walked in to what I can only describe as a steam punk time machine, a selection of steam engines large wheels, belts and gauges. I was in awe.
